The time is here for the caterpillars of Boys Chrysalis Flight #25 and Men's Journey #7!

We now have a complete list of the 22, caterpillars for Boys Flight #25/Journey #76. Below are the names each young man:

Please be in prayer for these young men as they prepare to walk hand-in-hand with Christ this weekend. Pray for their hearts to be open to His word and their minds to be open to applying it to their everyday life.

Many of you have already begun to participate in this weekend through sponsoring some of these boys, preparing agape and signing up for the 72-Hour Prayer Vigil.  However, there are still many ways that you can show these young men the unconditional love of God, a few of which simply involve being there and smiling with them. Your presence at this weekend is often more powerful than any gift you can make or word you can say. Your example of unselfish love can speak volumes. 

Please come out and support the teenagers and young men of Chrysalis Flight #25/Journey #7 this weekend.   We now have 22 young men who are taking steps to be closer to God 

We hear over and over at both Emmaus and Chrysalis closings that the one thing that amazed the new pilgrims/butterflies the most was the overwhelming love and support from a community of people who did not know them at all. 

Having said that I should give you the times and events that community are encouraged to come. All of the following events will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church, 4000 Spring Park Road, Jacksonville, FL   32207 (Directions are posted at the bottom)

Sendoff was held this morning The caterpillars arrived by 8:15am and the Sendoff service begans at 8:30am. Come out and meet some of these ladies listed above and encourage them in God's love as we send them off singing something about Delores, roosters, and baby chickens :)

Second is Candlelight. The community service begins Saturday, 8:00pm in the sanctuary where we will come together to worship, pray for each of these young men by name and take communion in their honor. The Candlelight Service will follow this at 9:00pm.

Last, but certainly not least, is Closing which begins Sunday at 4:00pm. If you have never been to a Chrysalis Closing, I must say it is amazing. To hear how God has touched the lives of these young men is extremely powerful!   I encourage you to come and participate if at all possible.

Starting with this flight, there will be changes regarding how meals are served. In the past only team members were allowed to serve the caterpillars. The community is encouraged to come out and serve meals in the same manner as Emmaus. Meal times are listed below. Anyone wishing to serve should be in the dining room at least 15 minutes ahead of time.

Over the past few flights attendance has doubled at Chrysalis functions. This has made a HUGE impact on the young men and woman that attended these weekends! However, we always say that if only one of them is touched it is all worth it. Let's work together to come out in full force and show them the awe-inspiring love of God!
