I love a New Year!  Whatever we didn't complete or problems we had....they don't seem to matter.  We get to step back and look at things anew with a fresh vision and purpose.  It's almost like unexpected grace!  We know our purpose......it's to bring people that they might be renewed in Christ and go back to their local churches with renewed vision and leadership.  It is quite amazing that He allows us to be His hands and feet on these weekends.  But He gets all the glory....for He is the transforming power!    

In keeping with this,  let us put our best foot forward for Him this New Year.  Let us seek His will on who we should sponsor....and then follow through.  Let us volunteer our time to work weekends....and follow through.  Let us commit to attend Hoots/Gatherings, Send-off, Candlelight and Closings.....and follow through.  Let us seek His will if we should serve on the Steering Committee or Board......and follow through. 

On that note…Girls and Boys Flight #25/Journey #7  is FAST approaching! Please prayerfully consider if there are any youth between the ages of 15-18 and in 9^th-12^th grade(Flight) or  ages 18-24 (Journey), that you feel desire a closer walk with God. You can email me a request for an application or you can visit the website, http://www.fcchrysalis.com/,  to download applications if needed. If you already have applications, please send them in as soon as possible to:

*Both of these weekends will be held at Faith UMC.   

On past flights agape has been a quite scarce on Chrysalis weekends. I CANNOT STRESS TO YOU ENOUGH THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH AGAPE! There are so many other ways that you can affect the lives of these special young men and women by simply showing them unconditional love. You can prepare agape, letters, SNACKS, sign up for the 72-Hour Prayer Vigil, and attend Sendoff, Candlelight and Closing.
