Guess what time it is?! Yep that's right! It's Hoot (Hootie Hoo) AND Gathering time . . . and not just any Hoot (Hootie Hoo) it's a Next Steps Hoot (Hootie Hoo) for all of the girls and guys from Chrysalis Flight #22!!!! This will be the last time that the team and new butterflies from each Flight will be able to gather as a collective group and share their experiences in their next steps. Sponsors, it is very important to get your new butterflies to this event.
Remember, Hoots are open to ANYONE - you need not have attended a Journey/Chrysalis (or Emmaus) weekend. And, ADULTS ARE NOT ONLY WELCOME BUT ENCOURAGED!!!!!! Chrysalis and Emmaus are partners in the ministry to produce servant leaders for the church and for God's mission in the world. As such, each has the responsibility to encourage the other. This is not only a Chrysalis Hoot it is an event for the entire community, so put this on your calendar and do your best to come.
After communion, the group Tied will be performing at the Hoot. Tied has a unique blend of praise and worship that creates an energy and excitement that fosters an atmosphere of amazing praise! Members include our own Chrysalis community members.

Other: Florida Crown Chrysalis will be providing some of the entrées for dinner. The community is asked to bring a covered dish, desert and/or drinks. Following dinner the girls' and boys' groups will go to their respective corners for their gathering. Meanwhile, the community will meet in the gym for a little praise and worship. Afterwards, we reunite to all hear a special Next Steps - 4th Day talk and share Holy Communion.
All of the festivities begin at 6pm. Bring a friend, covered dish, desert and/or drinks, and a smile as big as the world! Don't forget your nametags and crosses and drive safely. And remember, this is also a great place to bring your friends and family that you would like to introduce to Emmaus and Chrysalis.

Chrysalis is a life-changing experience that will transform youth and young people into world-changing disciples of Jesus Christ. It is open to young adults and youth of any Christian denomination at any stage of thier of thier spiritual journey. This 5-minute introductory video, used along with Chrysalis brochures, will give potential participants just a taste of what the Chrysalis community is all about. We invite you to explore Chrysalis and encourage youth and young people to participate in an exciting three days of experiencing God's love and grace in a fresh new way. CHRYSALIS is the growth stage between caterpillars and butterfilies. While on the surface it may look like nothing is happening, the delicate process changes a caterpillar into a butterfly with wings and beautiful colors. This symbolizes that through dying to self Christ can transform us into something beautiful. We must open ourselves to Jesus for this transformation to occur. CHRYSALIS FLIGHT/JOURNEY is the name chosen for the Young Adult Walk To Emmaus because it symbolizes faith growing in the lives of young adults ... the spiritual growth that is necessary between adolescence and adulthood. It is a crucial time of maturing faith for discipleship.
CHRYSALIS has its roots deeply planted in its parent movement, the Walk To Emmaus. The CHRYSALIS FLIGHT/JOURNEY is a three-day spiritual renewal retreat that provides participants an opportunity to learn more about faith, to experience Christian love and support, and a chance to make new commitments in their faith journey. The content of the three days focuses on God's grace, how one experiences Christ as a friend in the body of Christ, and how one is called into discipleship giving love to a needful world.
