Chrysalis Flights #30/Journey #12 will be here before you know it. Please be in prayer for the team and the new caterpillars, most of whom do not even know how God will touch them. The prayer vigil is ready and needs your participation for completion. For those of you wishing to participate in the prayer vigil, you can sign up by clicking on the following link. Note that there are plenty of spots open for the prayer vigil for the Boy's Chrysalis Flight/Journey. Please try to complete this list.
The Girl's Chrysalis Flight/Journey will be Nov 2nd thru Nov 4th with Debbie Hopper serving as Lay Director.
The Boy's Chrysalis Flight/Journey will be Nov 9th thru Nov 11th with Phil Jacobs serving as the Lay Director.
The RUSH (AGAPEEEE!) will also be held there on Nov 17th.

An Introduction To Chrysalis
Chrysalis is a life-changing experience that will transform youth and young people into world-changing disciples of Jesus Christ. It is open to young adults and youth of any Christian denomination at any stage of their spiritual journey. This 5-minute introductory video, used along with Chrysalis brochures, will give potential participants just a taste of what the Chrysalis community is all about. We invite you to explore Chrysalis and encourage youth and young people to participate in an exciting three days of experiencing God's love and grace in a fresh new way. Expect youth and young adults to be transformed through their experience. Spread your wings and fly with Christ!

CHRYSALIS is the growth stage between caterpillars and butterflies. While on the surface it may look like nothing is happening, the delicate process changes a caterpillar into a butterfly with wings and beautiful colors. This symbolizes that through dying to self, Christ can transform us into something beautiful. We must open ourselves to Jesus for this transformation to occur. CHRYSALIS FLIGHT/JOURNEY is the name chosen for the Young Adult Walk To Emmaus because it symbolizes faith growing in the lives of young adults ... the spiritual growth that is necessary between adolescence and adulthood. It is a crucial time of maturing faith for discipleship.
CHRYSALIS has its roots deeply planted in its parent movement, the Walk To Emmaus. The CHRYSALIS FLIGHT/JOURNEY is a three-day spiritual renewal retreat that provides participants an opportunity to learn more about faith, to experience Christian love and support, and a chance to make new commitments in their faith journey. The content of the three days focuses on God's grace, how one experiences Christ as a friend in the body of Christ, and how one is called into discipleship giving love to a needful world.
